Earth and Vine

Save the Date for Earth and Vine 2019: Saturday, April 6!

Earth and Vine 2018 made $26,952 for our specialty programs! Fund-a-need was similarly successful and we are looking forward to working with Kim John Payne as a community. Huge thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and all of the generous parents, family, and friends who made Earth and Vine a prosperous and fun event. And save the date for Earth and Vine 2019: April 6, 2019!

About Alice Birney Waldorf eK-8 School
We are a community of families and teachers with a powerful vision: we believe in developing children’s individual talents, nurturing their creativity, and fostering their knowledge and imagination.

These core values are integrated daily into our school’s broad-based Waldorf curriculum, and include drawing, painting, movement, music, gardening, cooking, woodworking, and handwork.

This approach, proven for nearly 100 years worldwide, and 21 years in our unique public school in Sacramento, helps to develop creative, well-rounded youth with a lifelong passion for learning.

Tax dollars cover much of our public school’s operating costs. However, our unique specialty classes are supported almost entirely by the Alice Birney Guild, our school’s parent-teacher association and a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Volunteer for Earth & Vine
They say “many hands make light work.” This couldn’t be more true for Earth & Vine! This fundraiser comes together because we have a tremendous group of volunteers. To join forces with your community to make this important event happen, you can sign up for event set up, food service, auction assistance, event clean up, or general help.
