Festivals

The kindergarten harvest festival

Seasonal events we celebrate include:

HARVEST FESTIVAL
Student-only school festival during school hours that includes games, snacks and crafts. Donations come from parents and each class is responsible for some aspect of the festival. All parents volunteering on campus MUST have clearance.

WINTER FAIRE
Thank you to everyone who contributed to and attended our past Winter Faires! A special thank you to those who work hard year-round to keep Crafts and Conversations crafting to make Illuminations beautiful and well stocked. Thank you to those who donate even though they don’t have a 1st, 2nd, 5th or 6th grader. Thank you to all of the teachers and class coordinators for working hard to bring their classes together to make it a successful event and a beautifully decorated campus. Thank you to Mrs. Horning for assisting to make it a wonderful day. Winter Faire would not be successful without the hard work and dedication from our entire community.

WHOLE WORLD FESTIVAL
This springtime event brings the community together to celebrate the diversity that makes our school great. There are musicians and performers representing countries from around the world as well as crafts, games and delicious food. Vendors are invited to sell their cultural wares. The event is held under the beautiful shade of the Alice Birney Oak trees and ends with a children’s parade. A nominal fee is charged by the food booths to cover the cost of food items. The remainder of the event is complimentary.
